One of thing things that ticks me off are polls that users make to gauge how many people are watching them... this bugs me for a number of reasons.

The first reason is that a user's page is already displaying the number of page views the user gets. Not only that, but in the expanded statistics page one could measure what type of submitted work is getting the most attention... this is not difficult at all to check and use if one is simply interested in getting their work around.

However, what bugs me most about these user hosted survey's of "Do you watch me?" is that it should not matter on the physical number of people that respond to such a pointless survey... the only thing that should matter is if you enjoy putting your work out there and getting feed back... no matter how positive or negative that feed back is: it's about expressing yourself!

Of course, there are many other things that tick me off... but this journal entry has already devolved into a rant anyway, so I may as well stop while I'm ahead.

On a completely unrelated note: "Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day" was a fantastic film and I highly recommend it if you can find a nearby theater that's carrying it... it only has a very limited release.
